FONHARE has established partnerships with many fine institutions and hosts several student interns throughout the year.  We encourage universities and professional institutions to contact us regarding new opportunities for their PT or OT students to gain knowledge and experience in global health care.  As an intern, you will get to work with a variety of situations and cases that you are never likely to see in a developed nation.  You will also have the opportunity to gain a new worldview perspective and immerse yourself in a different culture.
